Frequently asked questions
Common questions about NinjaWatcher and how it works.
What is NinjaWatcher?
NinjaWatcher is real-time content safety software for families. It runs on your Windows PC and filters web content before it reaches the screen—blocking explicit images and unsafe sites. Parents control it with a PIN; kids can’t turn it off.
What’s the difference between Free and paid plans?
Free includes domain blocking and location-based rules on one device. Individual and Family plans add real-time image filtering (AI-based) and support more devices (3 for Individual, 10 for Family).
Is my data sent to the cloud?
Filtering runs on your device. We don’t keylog or upload screenshots. Optional cloud features (e.g. syncing settings across devices) would require your consent and be clearly labeled.
Can my child bypass NinjaWatcher?
NinjaWatcher is designed to be tamper-resistant. Disabling the proxy, uninstalling, or changing settings requires your parent PIN. We also re-enable protection if we detect tampering.
Which devices are supported?
Right now we support Windows 11 (64-bit). We’re planning support for Android, macOS, Chromebook, and iOS in the future.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can change or cancel your plan anytime from your account dashboard. If you cancel, you’ll keep access until the end of your billing period, then revert to the free plan.
